Project outcome

The project was successfully commissioned in early 2018, with the borehole water treatment plant delivering 10 000 kilolitres per month, which is more than sufficient to sustain the whole of Grandwest Casino complex, successfully taking them off the municipal grid before the anticipated ‘Day Zero’ in Cape Town in 2018.
